No Win No Fee Claims

No Win No Fee Claims

No win no fee claims are there to help you if you've suffered because of someone else's actions. They provide you with an opportunity to claim compensation, regardless of your financial situation.

No win no fee claims were introduced in the UK in 1995, and replaced Legal Aid - a government funding system created to help those who believe they’re entitled to compensation but can't afford legal representation.

How do no win no fee claims work?

If you've been injured in an accident that wasn't your fault, such as an accident at work, you may wish to claim compensation for your injuries and any associated financial loss (for example lost wages if you've had to take time off work to recover).
All of our solicitor firms can handle your claim on a no win no fee basis. This means that if your claim is unsuccessful and you don't receive compensation, you don't have to pay a penny. Our personal injury solicitors will usually only offer you a no win no fee agreement if they're confident that your claim will result in compensation being awarded.

Unlike many companies, we make sure that if your claim is successful, you keep the maximum compensations awarded. The system works a little differently in Scotland where the fee your solicitor will deduct from the compensation awarded may be slightly different to that deducted in England and Wales.

Can I make a no win no fee claim?

Claiming compensation can seem a daunting experience, particularly if you haven't had any experience of the legal world before. This is why our no win no fee solicitors make claiming the compensation you deserve as straightforward as possible, and will fill in most of the paperwork for you. What's more, your solicitor firm will keep you updated on the progress of your no win no fee claim, and will be able to answer any questions you have along the way.

Will I have to go to court?

You might be worried about having to go to court. While not impossible, it's very unlikely that you'll have to go to court if you make a claim - only around 5% of no win no fee claims make it as far as court.

Our no win no fee service is subject to the solicitor firm agreeing to take your case on as well as other limited exceptions which the solicitor firm will explain in more detail.
